TERMS

USA Net 30, upon approved credit. A finance charge of 1.5% per month will be assessed on all past due invoices. CREDIT CARD transactions will be accepted at time of purchase only without fee. Account ballances thereafter, paid by credit card will be assessed a 2.0 % fee.

CLAIMS & RETURNS

ASC WAREHOUSE/ ASCENT DIESEL has a satisfaction guarantee return policy on stock items returned within 5 days in sellable conditions. Notify ASC WAREHOUSE for return authorization for a complete refund. After 5 days, a restocking fee of 20% will be deducted from the return credit. After 30 days, and on non-stock items, no return will be allowed. Special orders are subject to the return policy of the Vendor. No freight collect returns will be accepted unless otherwise agreed to.

CORE POLICY

Off engine condition only. Like for Like, exchange. No visible breaks, cracks, grinds, reassembly, excessive rust on or in housing, pulleys, shafts and gears. Compressors, and oil pumps must turn over freely. Oil coolers must not have bent tubes, damaged fins, or headers. Accessory drives may have broken shafts as long as the housing is rebuildable. thickness standard.

Core Charges are to be paid according to the standard terms and conditions. Full core credit will be issued upon receipt of cores in acceptable conditions and within 120 days of the original billing.

WARRANTY

ASCENT DIESEL warranties their products to be free from defects in material or workmanship for one year from the original date of installation; shelf life not to exceed one year. ASCENT DIESEL will refund the purchase price or replacement price, not to exceed the original purchase price of ASCENT DIESEL product determined to be defective at their inspection of the product at ASCENT DIESEL. ASCENT DIESEL may consider labor and or progressive damage claims at their discretion. Any parts replaced on an approved claim will be at the customers cost of the same parts from ASCENT DIESEL. Claims approved for labor will be at published flat rate, not to exceed 65.00 per hour for wholesale repair shops. Labor will not be considered for end user shops.

Warranty coverage for products produced by other manufacturers and suppliers sold through ASC WAREHOUSE is limited to that offered by the manufacturer or supplier of the product.

OVERHAULS supplied by ASC WAREHOUSE all have a minimum two year warranty offered by each manufacturer.

CYLINDER HEADS, New and Remanufactured have a six month ASCENT DIESEL warranty and an additional six months head replacement only.

Warranties are void in cases of oporator neglect, improper operations, installation, mis-use, poor maintenance or accident. These warranties specifically do not cover progressive damage, down time, loss of profits, cargo damage, or other indirect claims.

ASC WAREHOUSE/ ASCENT DIESEL makes no other warranty either expressed or impied, including any warranty of merchantability of or fitness for a particular purpose. The installer will be the final authority to determine correct application and sutability for a particular purpose.

Advisable: When possible contact ASC WAREHOUSE before any repairs are made. Correct diagnosis and procedure are critical

WARRANTY CLAIM PROCEDURES

All parts and components related to the claim must be returned in off engine condition and accompanied by the following information

  1. Copies of Work Order and Parts Lists of the original repair where the claimed part was installed
  2.  Copy of original ASC WAREHOUSE Invoice
  3.  Copies of Work Order and Parts Lists for the repair or replacement of the claimed part
  4.  Write-up of failure details; simptoms, cause, repairs made
